The day home is open 7:00a.m – 5:30p.m Monday to Friday.
Holidays
Buzzy Bees closes every year for the following paid holidays:
New Year's Day (January 1)
Family Day (3rd Monday in February)
Good Friday (Date varies yearly)
Victoria Day (Monday preceding May 25th)
Canada Day (July 1)
Civic Holiday (1st Monday in August)
Labor Day (1st Monday in September)
Thanksgiving Day (2nd Monday in October)
Remembrance Day (November 11th)
Christmas Eve (December 24)
Christmas Day (December 25)
Boxing Day (December 26)
* If I will be on holidays you will be notified a month in advance.
Rates
Full time - $700 per month, per child
Part time-$500 Part time (3 days a week or less)
Drop in -$30 a day per child
Over Time - $10.00 for every half hour late
*$50 dollar non refundable registration fee **
Payments
All fees are required on the first of every month either by Cheque or E-transfer. In the event that payment is late, an extra $8.00 a day will be added until paid in full.
*If you require a different pay schedule it can be arranged.
**Please note: There are no reductions given for absences. The monthly fee covers both care and guaranteed space.

Curriculum Approach
The Reggio Emilia approach is an educational philosophy and pedagogy focused on preschool and primary education. This approach is a student-centered and constructivist self-guided curriculum that uses self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven.
Child Development
Our primary focus is on whole child development — taking into consideration consistent loving care, intellectual and emotional stimulation, positive reinforcement, social skills,play, respect, physical activity, global citizenry, and no screen-time policies.
These are important values we want to impart on the children entrusted in our Dayhome . As they grow older, these children will be better problem-solvers, critical thinkers and collaborators because of the holistic foundation we helped them build during their early years.

Hello, I am the owner of Buzzy bees Day home. I am ELCC certified, First Aid Certified.I have been working in childcare for over 13 years and 3 as a program manger at a childcare. I have decided to open my own Dayhome as I have a one year old daughter who i can stay home with.
